Central Vietnam
Central Vietnam offers a strong connection to the country’s cultural traditions and community life. In the historic town of Hoi An, centuries of trade, craftsmanship, and local customs continue to shape daily life along the river and surrounding countryside. Time spent with local communities highlights how traditional knowledge, agriculture, and environmental awareness remain closely linked. Through shared experiences and collaboration with local initiatives, students gain insight into Vietnamese culture while supporting efforts that protect both heritage and the natural environment.

South Vietnam
In southern Vietnam, life moves to the rhythm of rivers and canals. Around Vinh Long in the Mekong Delta, fertile waterways support farming communities where agriculture, local crafts, and village life remain closely connected. The region offers a glimpse into a landscape where water shapes livelihoods, transport, and daily routines. Working alongside local communities, students contribute to village initiatives while learning about rural life in the delta. The journey also includes time in Ho Chi Minh City, where the country’s dynamic present and layered history offer a broader perspective on Vietnam’s development.
