Step 1: Start with your learning goals
Every customized CAS Trip begins with a question:
What do you want your students to learn?
For some teachers, it’s about bringing classroom subjects to life—like exploring sustainability in real-world contexts, deepening understanding of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, or practicing a second language through cultural immersion. For others, it’s about team-building, leadership, or global citizenship.
Whatever your goals, we build the trip around them.
For example:
- A school exploring themes of global justice and cultural identity chose Cambodia as its destination. The itinerary included a community project inspired by ChildSafe, where students learned about ethical tourism and child protection. Step 3: Match the trip to the age group
What works for a 17-year-old A-Level student may not be suitable for a 13-year-old in MYP Year 2, and that’s something we take seriously.

For younger groups, we often include more structured guidance, tactile learning, and simplified service projects. For older students, we emphasize independence, discussion-based learning, and deeper thematic exploration.
